Evan Kleinman is a four-time Emmy nominated producer and director. He has produced television programming for NBC, online media for New York Magazine and Broadway.com. Evan believes New Media and social networking are best utilized to bridge gaps between communities and people that would not have the opportunity to interact otherwise.
His latest project is about exploring the peripheral of our people. Titled “Punk Jews” the documentary follows a community of artists, activists, and musicians expressing their Jewish identity in unique and unconventional ways in New York. This independent documentary changes something in the way you’ll view your people… to the better we hope. Evan gives us a behind the scenes look, not to the production set, but rather to the producers’ mindset and soul.
If you find this of interest be on the look out, as the film itself is scheduled to come out soon.
