The Israeli air force intercepted two rockets that crossed into Israel from Gaza following sirens in the south of the country on Saturday afternoon, the IDF reported.
Army radio reported that the rockets came from the area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, most of which is defined as a humanitarian zone. The IDF has not operated in that area since August, Army Radio added.
Israel's emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, reported that it had not yet received any reports regarding rocket crashes or casualties.
