A French man who attacked a man wearing a kippah as he left a synagogue in Paris was sentenced to three years in prison, Le Nouvel Obs reported on Saturday.
The 31-year-old had beat the 62-year-old victim to the ground and called him a "dirty Jew."
French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin condemned the attack at the time and assured that the perpetrator would be caught.
The attacker, according to Le Nouvel Obs, had also been convicted in 2022 of making death threats to a Jewish man.
