More than 37,953 Palestinians have been killed, and 87,266 have been wounded in the Israeli military offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Gaza health ministry does not differentiate between civilians and combatants and has been repeatedly criticized for distorting casualty figures.
