The United States and France are currently working on ceasefire proposals to resolve the escalating fighting in Lebanon linked to the war in Gaza, three Israeli sources said on Wednesday, adding that no significant progress had been made so far.
The American proposal includes a truce in the north to allow for a diplomatic solution, one of the officials said.
