French President Emmanuel Macron said he was dispatching his foreign minister to Lebanon as part of efforts to stop war breaking out, calling on Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah to immediately stop hostilities, reported by Reuters on Wednesday.
"There cannot be, must not be war in Lebanon," he said in a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York.
