Controversial social media personality Andrew Tate posted on X/Twitter on Saturday that he was praying to die a death like former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

Sinwar, the mastermind behind Hamas's October 7 attacks, which saw the massacring of over 1200 people, was eliminated by the IDF on Wednesday.
As previously reported by The Jerusalem Post, there is a battle over the narrative of Sinwar's death. Some Hamas supporters deny that Sinwar was killed, while others have attempted to depict his death as heroic.

A self-described misogynist, social media influencer Tate has gained millions of fans by promoting an ultra-masculine lifestyle that critics say denigrates women, according to Reuters.
The former world champion kickboxer and 2016 Big Brother star has become a rising force in reactionary anti-feminist circles, helped in no small part to the launching of his paid subscription service Hustler's University and to offering training on "male-female interactions."
Tate was placed under house arrest in August pending a second investigation on accusations of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering.
Since the start of the war, Tate has appeared in multiple interviews where he levied accusations against the Jewish state - claiming in November that Israel was "genociding" Palestinians.
In July, Tate claimed on X that "Israel tried to buy me" but that "I said no."
