Danny Elgarat, brother of Itzik Elgarat, who is in Hamas captivity, fainted in the visitors section of the Knesset plenum during a speech by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.
The incident occurred after Elgarat began shouting during the prime minister's speech, and Knesset guards approached to remove him. Elgarat said, earlier on Monday, that he has been on a hunger strike for 47 days.
The speech came during a special session in the Knesset on the issue of the 101 hostages still under Hamas captivity.
