Israel will not intervene in developments in Syria, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said during a situational assessment in the Golan Heights, the military said.
"We are not intervening in what is happening in Syria. We have no intention of managing Syria," Halevi stated.
The chief of staff noted that the IDF is continuing to protect Israeli citizens, especially in the Golan Heights, from external threats.
