The IDF began proceedings against haredim who are eligible for draft into the IDF and who did not report for recruitment, the military announced on Friday.
"A conscript who fails to report for enlistment as required by the orders they received will be considered as committing the offense of absence from service without authorization and will be subject to criminal sanctions," the military's statement read.
