Diaspora Affairs Minister MK Amichai Chikli (Likud) posted an open letter to Australia's Jewish community on his X/Twitter account on Thursday evening.
Chikli praised the community for its "incredible resilience during these challenging times" amid various antisemitic attacks across Australia over recent weeks.
Chikli commented that Australia's Jewish community has "long stood out as one of the most Zionist and Israel-connected communities in the world."
He commended the leaders of the community for “[standing] firm, never allowing these challenges to go unanswered, ensuring that the Jewish voice remains heard and strong.
Chikli then wrote about the attempted terror attack in Sydney last week in which a caravan filled with explosives was discovered, the latest in a “disturbing pattern of incidents” across Australia.

'Your resilience is a beacon of inspiration to all of us,' Chikli wrote
“Please know that we, here in Israel, feel the hardship you have endured over the past two years. We send you our strength, support, and heartfelt solidarity from across the globe.”
Chikli concluded by thanking the community for their "courage, dedication to Israel, and unbreakable spirit."
