Following sirens that sounded at 12:03 in the Gaza border communities, two rockets were identified crossing into Israeli territory from the central Gaza Strip, the IDF announced on Wednesday.
One rocket was successfully intercepted by the IAF and one rocket fell in the area of Zimrat.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad later claimed responsibility for the rockets.
