France, working along with the European Union (EU), is likely to issue reciprocal responses to US President Donald Trump's tariff measures on the EU initially in mid-April and then again in late April, said France's goverment spokeswoman.
"There are two responses that are expected. The first one will be around mid-April, based around his first attacks on aluminum and steel, and then a second one likely at the end of April on the broader range of products and services," spokeswoman Sophie Primas told RTL radio on Thursday.
