Two suspected terror attacks injure at least three soldiers in West Bank, minutes apart

A suspected shooting in the area of Reihan Crossing and a suspected car-ramming attack in the Hebron Hills injured a combined three IDF soldiers minutes apart on Wednesday.

At least three IDF soldiers were wounded in two separate incidents that occurred minutes apart in the West Bank on Wednesday

The IDF received reports of a shooting in the area of the Reihan crossing in the West Bank, the military confirmed.

Reports indicated that the wounded were evacuated via helicopter to the Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa.

Two of the soldiers wounded were in serious condition, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body, Ynet reported.

It added that in the meantime, both were sedated and ventilated and were expected to undergo lifesaving surgery.

The military later confirmed that a terrorist fired at IDF soldiers conducting operational activity in the area, with soldiers pursuing the terrorist.

A car ramming attack in Hebron Hills

Shortly afterward, a car ramming attack targeted a soldier in Hebron Hills, the IDF confirmed.

The terrorist exited the vehicle, attempted to stab a soldier, and was killed at the scene.

Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad released respective statements praising the attacks and calling for an escalation of violence in the West Bank.

Neither of the terror groups officially claimed responsibility for the attack.
