Security forces arrest several suspects in connection to Bruchin attack on pregnant woman

On Saturday morning, the IDF located and arrested several suspects who were connected to the attack.

IDF soldiers conducted targeted searches for the terrorist who murdered 30-year-old Tzeela Gez on Wednesday night, in the village of Bruchin near the scene of the attack, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced on Saturday.

A mother of three, Gez was killed near the settlements of Peduel and Bruchin while her husband was driving her to the hospital to give birth.

Several suspects arrested

On Saturday morning, the IDF located and arrested several suspects who were connected to the attack.

During the arrest of one of the suspects, a terrorist was identified running toward the forces holding a backpack that was suspected of being rigged with explosives, while shouting “Allahu akbar” (God is great). The soldiers shot and killed the terrorist in response.

There were no injuries reported among Israeli troops.

The investigation into the terror attack is ongoing and is being conducted by the Shin Bet and the Samaria District Police.
