Police from the Tel Aviv District's Prosecution unit filed an indictment on Thursday against an Arab from Huwara for illegal entry into Israel, assaulting a public official, and requested his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
The individual, a man in his twenties, spat in an IDF officer's face on bus 161 in Ramat Gan on Sunday.
