Shattered window at Supreme Court prompts investigation after gunfire ruled out

Security personnel at the Supreme Court reported a shattered window in the building on Friday, prompting a police investigation.

The Jerusalem District Forensic investigators conducted an initial examination, the police announced.

"According to the findings, the damage was not caused by a firearm. The investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident," the Israel Police stated.

The damage was allegedly discovered following a large and heated right-wing demonstration held outside the court yesterday, which drew an estimated 10,000 participants. Protesters voiced strong criticism of the judicial system and the government's legal advisor.
