On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the morning of Simchat Torah, we all awoke to a world shrouded in darkness. As the hours passed and the days went by, the true extent of the tragedy and horror became clear, far beyond what we have ever known, even in the most challenging times of the past.

Hundreds of families lost their loved ones in the horrifying and terrible massacre in Israel’s south. Parents, siblings, sons and daughters, children and grandchildren, uncles and aunts, cousins, friends – people of all ages, from all over the country –  whole worlds were shattered by an unimaginable number of missing, injured, and murdered.

Countless individuals have lost contact with their loved ones, some of whom are wounded or still alive, and others are no longer with us. Their relatives are left to grapple with unbearable difficulty, pain, and grief that is impossible to bear.

For 22 years, our organization has been accompanying bereaved families and victims of terrorism from when the terror attack took place until today. We do not abandon them; we provide support and assistance, both financially and emotionally, in a wide range of areas and in various ways. We are here for them!

Unfortunately, due to the current situation, thousands of families have joined the circle of mourning in the past few days, and we want to continue working and helping every family. For this, we need your assistance – every donation is important. Every small contribution is just as significant! To donate, click here.

Every shekel you give goes directly to a worthy cause – to processes of recovery and aiding those whose lives will never be the same after this horrifying period.

Chantal Belzberg, CEO of OneFamily, says: “This organization has been operating for 22 years, and we have never been exposed to such a volume of cries and requests for help from families. We need your help; every shekel will make a difference.”
