“This is not just a conflict; it is evil. And let me be clear, evil will not triumph,” Witkoff stated, referring to the rise of Middle East terrorism.
Netanyahu reportedly responded positively to the offer, but with reservations, while Hamas continues to demand guarantees for an end to the war.
"We have one very, very clear red line, and that is enrichment. We cannot allow even 1% of an enrichment capability," Witkoff said during an interview.
In Tel Aviv, families of hostages called for an end to the war, arguing that only a deal can bring the remaining hostages home.
"The impression received is that the Israelis came to Doha to thwart the talks and find justification for renewing the war in Gaza," a foreign source said.

Witkoff made the statements to families of the remaining hostages while speaking about the release of Edan Alexander.
An Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post that the "Witkoff Framework" is the only viable path toward a deal.
