Algeria to propose UN action to 'stop killing in Rafah'

The Algerian draft text uses the strongest Security Council language - it "decides that Israel, the occupying Power, shall immediately halt its military offensive, and any other action in Rafah."

Algeria’s Representative to the United Nations Amar Bendjama addresses the Security Council on the day of a vote on a Gaza resolution that demands an immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan leading to a permanent sustainable ceasefire, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages
