Netanyahu wanted advisor of Germany's Angela Merkel to be fired, investigation finds - report

The former Chancellor's senior advisor conditioned the sale of submarines to Israel in exchange for stopping construction in the West Bank, which prompted Netanyahu to ask Merkel for his dismissal.
