Israel Air Force jets struck dozens of Hezbollah terror targets in the Beqaa Valley deep in Lebanon in addition to various southern Lebanese localities, the military said on Tuesday night, adding that the attacks were still ongoing.
The IDF said it had struck and destroyed dozens of military infrastructure in which were stored. In addition, it targeted numerous launchers which had been directed at Israeli territory.
Furthermore, the military said its jets were striking weapons storage facilities in the Bint Jbail area from which Hezbollah terrorists had fired rockets at the Safed and Rosh Pina areas earlier in the day.
Earlier on Tuesday, the IDF said it was carrying out extensive strikes on terror targets in Lebanon.
IDF intercepts incoming drones
The military further noted that it had intercepted some of the three drones that had crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon, following drone intrusion alerts that sounded in the Carmel area in northern Israel, starting at 7:39 p.m. local time.
