The IAF intercepted a suspicious aerial target off the coast of Gush Dan early Thursday morning, the IDF stated.

Explosions were heard shortly earlier in Israel's center, Sharon, and Gush Dan areas, Israeli media reported.

Areas included Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya, Tel Aviv, and Petah Tikva, reports said.

Shortly after, rocket sirens sounded in Bat Yam, with the MDA personnel saying there were no casualties or injuries following the sires. MDA did dispatch teams to treat people who fell on their way to the protected areas or those suffering from anxiety from the incident, Ynet reported.

UAVs detected

Two UAVs were also detected afterwards, and the IAF intercepted one of them, while the other crashed in an open area, Maariv reported.

Around the same time, alerts sounded due to a possibility of hostile aircraft infiltration, which were activated throughout the Golan Heights.

This is a developing story.
