The tax on plastic products made life difficult for large families and institutions, but reducing the cost of ecological alternative products could work better.
Silman will put forward tenders in cooperation with the Treasury and get the climate law approved by the Knesset.
The beach was originally closed to the public due to extensive works carried out by Israel’s national water company.
The version of the bill submitted on Thursday includes amendments required by Silman's fellow coalition members.
Silman will work with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich in order to find an "appropriate substitute" for the now-canceled plastic tax.
