The execution took place in a Zahedan jail in in Iran's southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province.
Iran says the group made 55 explosive detonators and dozens of bombs and had 100 kg of materials for more bombs.
The Russian embassy in Washington and the Kremlin did not respond to requests for comment.
The Mossad on Sunday morning said reports that it encouraged spies to attend judicial reform protests were "false and unfounded."
