Shift 101 is a group led by mothers of hostages advocating for the hostages through non-violent protest.
The demonstrators demanded Khan’s release and protested recent political developments.
“What we saw on the streets of Montreal last night was appalling,” Trudeau said in a statement on Saturday. “Acts of antisemitism, intimidation, and violence must be condemned wherever we see them.”

Protesters urged equal military service for unity and Israel’s defense, rejecting exemptions.
Parents held signs saying, “Children say stop the genocide in Gaza,” while their young children colored in anti-Zionist, Gaza-themed coloring books.
