Former US President Donald Trump is pleading not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
Special counsel Jack Smith is separately investigating Trump's handling of classified government documents after leaving office in 2020.
The politician is expected to officially announce her candidacy on February 15.
Trump sued Clinton claiming that she and other Democrats sought to rig that election by falsely accusing his campaign of links to Russia.
