Two issues – the attorney-general’s status and the makeup of the judicial selection committee – have returned to the forefront of the government’s agenda.
Levin – judges in conflict of interest, proves judicial reform was justified.
Opposition MKs claim: The judicial reform continues; Israeli gov't wants to control the makeup of Oct. 7 investigation committee.
According to a number of reports, which could not be confirmed, Levin said that the government should return to the reform "at full force."
Justice Minister Yariv Levin urged CRC and UNICEF to "address the harm caused to Israeli children" and to demand the release of all hostages.
According to a spokesperson for Levin, his comments came in response to calls from a number of ministers to fire Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.
The attack plan was approved during a four-hour political-security cabinet meeting, but the Israeli warplanes left for their destination before the meeting had finished.
Levin was pleased that all the appointments had been unanimous and said that many future judges had been approved.
