Finally seeing the site of the October 7 massacre with my own eyes - opinion

In the early months after October 7, 2023, the idea of going felt almost ghoulish – voyeuristic even. Who was I to tread on such sacred ground, soil soaked with blood and tears?

VISITORS TO the site of the Nova massacre use music to memorialize those murdered. ‘I walked through the fields and tried to imagine the music, the laughter, the dancing feet, but all I could hear in my mind were the gunshots,’ says the writer.
