The families of Omar Van Gelder, Lior Steinberg, and Alon Farkas, three soldiers killed in Gaza this week, have agreed to donate their organs.
“You were always at the center of things, smiling and leaving your mark wherever you went," a representative of the IDF said.

Staff-Sergeant Danilo Mocanu served in the IDF's 82nd Battalion, part of the 7th Brigade.
"His memory is what keeps me going. It reminds me that our service is about more than just our lives—it’s about the legacy we leave."
A ceremony will be held in Rehovot, at which Gessner's name will be added to the headstone of the collective burial site containing all three bodies, the IDF confirmed.
Sgt. Elishai Young fell in battle in the Gaza Strip in October 2024.
Feldman fought in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub between Israel and Syria in June 1982, in which six soldiers were declared missing in action. His remains were recovered from Syria after 43 years.
Feldman was initially declared as one of three soldiers declared missing in action in 1984.
