ISRAEL’S JULIA GLUSHKO is coming off four straight victories at the US Open – including qualifying – heading into her second-round match today against Naomi Osaka.
 DESPITE LOSING the first set and sustaining a leg injury against a higher-ranked opponent, Israel’s Julia Glushko (above) advanced to second round of the US Open last night with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory over Romanian Monica Niculescu.
