Not only did Trump not greet Netayahu with a slap in the face, he recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, in perhaps the ultimate embrace ahead of the April 9 election.
The centerpiece of his visit will be two meetings with US President Donald Trump. The first is a working meeting scheduled for Monday and the second is a dinner Tuesday evening.

Netanyahu helped broker an agreement between the Bayit Yehudi and Otzma Yehudit parties to shore up the right-wing bloc. Otzma Yehudit is an offshoot of a political movement banned from Knesset.
